THE ART OF SEEING
Photography and filmmaking began for me as an escape, a way to slow down, observe, and truly see the world. Growing up surrounded by mountains, misty forests, and wide African skies, I became deeply fascinated by the raw beauty of Africa, the way light moves across landscapes, the silence of untouched places, and the quiet power carried in everyday life. What started as a personal way of exploring the world quickly grew into a visual language, a way to capture emotion, atmosphere and story through both still images and motion.
Today, I work across both photography and cinematography, using light, composition, and feeling as the foundation of everything I create. Whether I’m filming a cinematic wedding, capturing an intimate portrait, or documenting a product or brand, my intention is always the same, to create visuals that feel honest, immersive and emotionally lasting.
I’ve always been drawn to Africa not just as a place, but as a feeling, the golden light at dusk, the vast silence of open land, the energy of wildlife, and the depth of human connection within it. That connection to place shapes my work, giving it a natural, grounded, and timeless aesthetic that I aim to carry into every project.
I believe great storytelling isn’t just about what you see, but what you feel and remember. Through both still frames and cinematic motion, I aim to preserve atmosphere and emotion in a way that lingers long after the moment has passed.
From intimate weddings and lifestyle sessions to cinematic brand films and commercial storytelling, I use my camera to document life in its raw, beautiful, and real form. Photography and filmmaking aren’t just what I do, they are how I connect people to moments, places and stories they never want to forget.
Captured on a quiet winter night on a farm in Macheke, far from the city’s glow. I sat beneath the cold, endless sky, watching the Milky Way rise above the southern horizon - a reminder of how small we are beneath its light.
